It started with transformation.
Mad Lips 21 was born from a deeply personal chapter in Julie Guay's life — a moment when emotion needed somewhere to go. Creation became that place.
What couldn't be said became something else.
Images, symbols and digital forms became a language of their own — a way to turn vulnerability, questions and lived experience into something visible.
One medium was never going to be enough.
The ideas kept changing shape. What began visually gradually moved across disciplines, allowing each idea to find the medium that could express it best.
Curiosity became part of the process.
New tools opened new possibilities. Blockchain, sound, interactive experiences and emerging technologies became territories to explore rather than boundaries to work within.
And Mad Lips 21 became a universe.
